冰雪奥运 走进美达菲 Winter Olympics Exhibition in MacDuffie School

历经了2000多个日夜的筹办与期盼，2022北京冬奥会进入“冲刺”阶段。从2008年到2022年，奥林匹克的运动精神将再次迎来“巅峰”时刻。

为支持办好北京冬奥会，弘扬奥运精神，作为天津市冬季和水上运动管理中心大力推广的普及冰雪系列活动之一“冬奥知识体验巡展”在天津市南开区美达菲学校隆重拉开序幕，孩子们在参与巡展过程中，收获了冰雪知识，享受了运动快乐。

In order to support the holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics and promote the Olympic spirit, as one of the popular snow and ice series activities promoted by the Tianjin Winter and Water Sports Administration Center, the "Winter Olympics Knowledge Experience Tour" kicked off at the MacDuffie School,Tianjin. During the tour, students gain a lot knowledge of ice and snow, enjoy the fun of sports.

The first batch of children who participated in the exhibition were from international kindergarten. The event set up a Winter Olympics Knowledge Exhibition Board and a Winter Olympics Knowledge Lecture place on campus, the teachers patiently explained the ice and snow history, the Winter Olympics common sense and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics related knowledge for the children.

I think the difference between Chinese schools and other schools is that they teach sports to very, very young children, who are very good, because you see Chinese athletes can win lots of gold medals in Olympic Games.
