结束了愉快的假期，新学期如约而至。

每年的这一天（9月第二周的周五），天津美达菲学校全体师生都在期待着The MacDuffie School Candlelight美达菲之夜的开始。

After a pleasant summer holiday, the new semester arrived as promised. On this day of every year (Friday in the second week of September), all teachers and students of MacDuffie Tianjin are looking forward to the beginning of the MacDuffie school candlelight.

时光荏苒，美达菲之夜作为美达菲学校的传统活动之一已经延续了一个多世纪。

As time goes by, Candlelight has been one of the traditional activities of MacDuffie school for more than a century.

傍晚的微风拂过一张张青春的脸庞，

美达菲人齐聚在一起共同见证School Candlelight的魅力。

今晚，我们用歌声与舞姿诠释青春的气息，张开梦想的翅膀；

今晚，我们用信仰与热情追逐青春的足迹，构建自己的梦想。

In the evening, the breeze brushed all youthful faces, and all the MacDuffiens gathered together to witness charm of the candlelight. Tonight, we use singing and dancing to interpret the breath of youth and spread the wings of dreams; Tonight, we chase the footprints of youth with faith and enthusiasm and build our dreams.

时针指向晚6点，School Candlelight正式开始，让爱传递，让希望传递，让梦想传递。

开场的是高三年级的毕业生带领着幼儿园的孩子入场的节目，这是一个温暖的校园价值观的传承，代表着美达菲的生生不息、价值理念的代代传承。今天，我们又站在了崭新的起点上，迎来了新一届的青年才俊，欢迎你们，新同学！

Today, we stand at a new starting point and welcome a new generation of young talents. Welcome, new students!

一首首快乐的歌声、一曲曲精湛的演奏、一支支活力四射的舞蹈......整个校园沉浸在欢乐的海洋。学生们在丰富的艺术形式中点燃兴趣、张扬个性、挖掘潜力。

Happy songs, exquisite performances and vigorous dances, the whole campus is immersed in a sea of joy. Students ignite interest, publicize personality and tap potential in rich art forms.

随着校领导、教师和学生代表共同点燃的篝火，

那一触即发的火焰，也点燃了全体师生的热情，师生们齐声喊出传承了一个多世纪的美达菲Circle价值观：集体、正直、尊重、创造力、领导力、卓越。

With the campfire lit by the school leaders 、teachers and student representatives, the impending flame also ignited the enthusiasm of all teachers and students. They shouted out our circle values inherited for more than a century: Community, Integrity, Respect, Creativity, Leadership and Excellence.

青春，正当时，

根植在美达菲学子基因里的Circle六大价值观，

将如星火般延续，

将如火焰般耀眼，

将给予每一位美达菲人力量，

伴随美达菲人再次启航。

Youth, just in time, the six Circle values rooted in the genes of MacDuffie students will continue like a spark and shine like a flame, giving every MacDuffien the power to set sail again.
