“玉兰杯”教学成果展示活动
4月9日，正是玉兰花与海棠花盛开的时节，天津市南开区美达菲学校“打造有生命力的课堂，做有质量的国际化学校”第二届“玉兰杯”教学成果展示活动圆满落下帷幕。
The 2nd “Magnolia Cup” teaching achievement display ended successfully on 9th April.
This contest included demolessons and basic teaching techniques. The focus was on educational advancement and improvement of educators’ teaching ability.
教师优质课展示
These ten demo lessons were selected by our school. All the teachers used their unique skills and teaching methods to show the new content. All the classes are students-centered, and focus on developing the students’ high level thinking skills. Such as understanding, imagination,application and creativity.
基本功大赛
在基本功大赛现场，共有60余位教师参加，大赛包括钢笔字、粉笔字、板书设计、说课四个环节。
During the basic skills competition, more than 60 teachers participated. The competition included four categories:pen writing, chalk writing, board work, and lectures. The teachers demonstrated excellent basic teaching skills in keeping with the high standards of all MacDuffie teachers.
专家评课
This activity was strongly supported by the Tianjin Department of Education. All the distinguished educational experts and educators within our district gave our teachers their professional feedback and guidance.
他们分别就作课老师“新课程把握的尺度”、“教师基本功掌握的厚度”以及“教学过程中所生成的教育智慧的高度”给予充分的肯定。专家们特别对中外方教师作课中注重以学生为主体创设具有生命力的课堂给予高度评价。
The event embodied good personal qualities with creative and pragmatic teaching skills. This was demonstrated by the diverse MacDuffie faculty and fully recognized by the famous experts from the Tianjin education area. The experts spoke highly of the methodologies, controland wisdom evident in each lesson, especially the active and engaging learning atmosphere which is ever-present here at MacDuffie.
